 The Cambridge Arts Council Fund Board
The Cambridge Arts Council Fund, Inc. is the 501(3)(c) tax-exempt
corporation affiliated with the Cambridge Arts Council. The
seven-member Fund Board is comprised of trustees appointed by the Cambridge Arts Council and the City Manager and responsible
for the fiduciary activity and adherence to the by-laws of
the CAC Fund.

Nancy Weissman, Esq.
Susan Alvey is the Director of Organizational Learning & Development at Harvard Business School Publishing
located in Watertown, MA where she is responsible for programs and training in Performance Management and Leadership,
Professional, and Organizational Development. Susan’s skills include strategic planning for organizations, capacity
building, management and training of human resources, and conducting organizational effectiveness. In addition to her
professional activities, Susan has taught courses in management and leadership at Endicott College and established and
ran a private company providing clients with services related to team building, leadership and business communication.
Susan recently served as a board member for the Boston Dance Alliance (2001-2002) where she was also the Chair of the
Membership Committee and facilitator for BDA’s long-range planning efforts. Susan is a founding member of the Cabot
Street Cinema Theater in Beverly, MA and also volunteers with the North Cambridge Artists Open Studio (NoCA) group.
Claire Spinner is the Director for Financial Systems & Operations in the City of Cambridge Finance Office.

Nancy Weissman is an attorney in private practice in Boston, MA focusing primarily on casework that deals with
financial and real estate concerns. She also serves as outside general counsel to the Federal Home Loan Bank of Boston.
In areas of real estate, Nancy is a licensed real estate broker and represents owners, acquirers and tenants in transactions
involving conveyance and leasing of commercial and residential property and condominium conversion and management.
In matters of business and finance, Nancy represents clients on issues pertaining to fiduciary management,
estate planning and administration, guardianships, general corporate and transactional work negotiating and
drafting business agreements and organizing the operations of limited liability companies, corporations and
partnerships. Prior to living in Cambridge, Nancy worked as a bank regulatory attorney in the US Department
of the Treasury in Washington, D.C. and as a law clerk to the Honorable Robert B. Dickson in the New Hampshire
Superior Court. In addition to her professional activities, Nancy is a lecturer at Tufts University, a development
strategist for Brown University, a Board member for Temple Beth Shalom in Cambridge and teaches first time homebuyer
workshops for community development corporations.
